The private class

General spanish classes

These classes will help you refresh your Spanish if you haven’t used it for a while. You can consolidate your knowledge, enhance your skills, address any of your questions about grammar, vocabulary and language use, acquire new knowledge, improve your fluency and precision when speaking Spanish, learn how to write Spanish, and increase your level of comprehension when reading or listening. You can also choose to focus on preparing for public speaking or job interviews.

Conversation classes

Conversation classes are ideal if you want to speak more fluently and more naturally, hold conversations on subjects that matter to you, practice short interactions because you need to travel or want to live in a Spanish-speaking country, prepare for the speaking section of a Spanish exam, or just want to enjoy Spanish-language TV shows or films in the original version.

The pleasure of
studying with a native
teacher from your own home.

Each class is designed
exclusively to meet your
specific needs.

With an online Spanish class, your language learning will have the same quality that it would have an in-person class, but you won’t have to travel anywhere. The key elements are the lesson planning, the methodology and the practical exercises, which need to be communicative and meaningful. In your private online class, we will cover every language skill just as effectively as we would do in person. You will improve your language competencies at your own pace in order to meet your own particular academic or personal goals.

How long will my classes be?

Each private online class in Spanish is 60 minutes long.
In each of your classes, we will get started with 10 minutes of warm-up questions and chatting and we will conclude with 5 minutes of comments, homework assignments and farewells. In between the warm-up and conclusion, you will receive a full 45 minutes of instruction.
Would you like your class to be longer or shorter? We can always explore options.

What are my technical requirements for an online class?

Don’t worry about the technology. You only need an internet connection, a computer, and Zoom or Skype, which are two free video-conferencing software tools.

I’m interested in studying with you, so how do I get started?

Fill in the form and send me an email to set up an initial meeting.

What will we achieve in our initial meeting?

In our initial meeting, I can get to know you and find out your reasons for learning Spanish. I can also show you the platform where you’ll find the resources for your classes. You can tell me about your preferred learning style. Also, I can take the opportunity to gauge your speaking skills and give you some suggestions about how to start improving your Spanish right now.

How does the system for reserving classes work?

Once you decide to get started, we’ll agree on the day and time for your classes. (For example, you might want to do class every Wednesday at 11 am.) At that point, I’ll reserve your preferred day and time just for you. Then you’ll receive a link to connect to Zoom, which will be valid for all of your classes.
